Curling
So curling was new to us upon arrival in Calgary. You might have seen it watching the winter Olympics, it is somewhat (loosely) like shuffle board, only it's on ice and involves a really big round rock. A couple of the boys were learning how to curl during their P.E. session, so I thought I would share some photos.

Does this make your family more Canadian than me? I've never gotten around to trying it.
In all our years there we never once did curling. I was scarred by watching it on T.V. with all the ladies yelling, "Hard! Hard! HARD!" I still yell that in a curling fashion when I think my hubby needs to make a hard left or right turn while we're driving.
I LOVE curling. When we lived in Tacoma, WA I watched it all the time on CBC. I do regret that when were vacationing in Toronto last year that I didn't go and try it. Thanks for the great photos.
