Just joking, but it may seem like that by the end of this post. There was so much cool stuff in Yellowstone! Like...
Buffalo!
a buffalo and a fly fisherman
a buffalo and a guy taking a picture of another buffalo
Justin taking a picture of buffalo
And we saw...
Geysers!
We actually spent a whole afternoon waiting for Old Faithful...missed it TWICE. I thought it blew every 30 minutes or so. Nope...it's averaging around 90 minutes this year. We had two times of just walking through the parking lot and seeing everyone coming back, signifying...guess what. So we decided to park it and wait on site.
Waiting for Old Faithful...
...and waiting...
Not Old Faithful, but Castle Geyser, which is not faithful, so it was a real treat to see it blow and it helped break up the monotony of waiting.
...still waiting...
Even Tess is into the anticipation.
Everyone is waiting. Is it time yet????
Thar she blows!!!
Ok, what next.
A bear.
Kids and buffalo!
A herd of buffalo!
We saw lots of buffalo.
But we also saw...
Waterfalls!
I love this shot - you can see how big this thing was with the people there to scale by.
We just saw some incredible scenery everywhere we looked.
How Tess took in the scenery...
and my absolute favorite view(don't miss the rainbow)...
It was a beautiful trip. I highly recommend it. Two thumbs up. A 10.

Pictures were worth the wait Heather, thanks for your hard work in sharing!
You know, I think you might have a knack for this photography thing.
Such a great trip. Memories you and the family will have FOREVER, and that is a long time.
Love you,
Dad F.
wow...gorgeous photos!!
Oh yes, I've enjoyed my chances to visit yellowstone, and your photos were great. I think it is impossible to take a bad photo there. When I was there I think I missed old faithful a few times too but did see a different one (not castle, I don't think) that was more spectacular.
Did your kids like the farting mud pots? he he. I know, they are called something else.
Can't wait to take Gideon there one day.
Those pictures are gorgeous! How amazing! Thanks for sharing! I have always wanted to go there!
