We packed in the festivities this weekend beginning with Miranda's first ballet recital (pronounced "ball-et", with the 't' sound at the end). She and the other girls did great and it was so fun. Miranda did not suffer nerves at all but found herself so overcome with excitement during her dance that she couldn't even stand still even when that was all she was supposed to be doing. She would just pivot back and forth with a huge grin on her face. She told me afterward, "I'm proud of me!" I told her that we were proud of her as well and so was Miss Jennifer, her teacher. So cute!

This post made me cry. I don't know why, it just did. Maybe because I wish Miranda and Anna-Kate were taking dance (from Victoria) together. At any rate, the picture of her with her daddy tugged at my heart-strings too.
