Safely Home by Randy Alcorn is a novel set in China surrounding the plight of the persecuted church. I don't want to do much more than recommend it as a good look at the life our brothers and sisters live under the bondage of a tyrannical regime. The faith portrayed was believable, and encouraging. This book challenged my lack of concern, my idealism, my own pettiness over the things I struggle with. It is a novel, and I am banking on the truth of claim the author makes as far as his research and knowledge that went into the writing. We have read other books by him and have greatly enjoyed them. I won't say anymore. I would love to hear from someone who reads it or has read it. I believe all the royalties will go to ministries supporting the persecuted church.

Have you read "Heavenly Man"? It is in China with the home churches. The neatest part was, "With God's help I can scale a wall." And he DID! It was amazing. I think that God is moving in China!
Love and prayers,
Holly
