Here is the latest update on Knox sent out Friday afternoon:
"Today Knox had another EEG. The results showed minimal brain activity. Doctors are not optimistic about Knox’s medical prognosis.
Pray for the Anderson family as they look for God’s direction over the coming days. Pray that God would sustain them in His steadfast love and give them wisdom as they wait and watch to make important decisions over the weekend. Jon and Rachel are trusting in God’s providence and are looking to Him continually for His help. Please continue to uphold them in your prayers."
I have been told that God is using this hymn to specially minster to Jon and Rachel. May he use it to minister to the rest of us as well. I am thankful for the cloud of saints who have gone before us enduring their own suffering so that we might have their witness to minister to our souls. Help my unbelief.
Whate'er My God Ordains Is Right
1. Whate'er my God ordains is right,
Holy His will abideth.
I will be still whate'er He does,
And follow where He guideth.
He is my God,
Though dark my road.
He holds me that I shall not fall
Wherefore to Him I leave it all
2. Whate'er my God ordains is right,
He never will deceive me
He leads me by the proper path,
I know He will not leave me
I take, content,
What He hath sent
His hand can turn my griefs away
And patiently I wait His day
3. Whate'er my God ordains is right,
Though now this cup in drinking
May bitter seem to my faint heart,
I take it all unshrinking
My God is true,
Each morn anew
Sweet comfort yet shall fill my heart
And pain and sorrow shall depart
4. Whate'er my God ordains is right,
Here shall my stand be taken
Though sorrow, need, or death be mine,
Yet I am not forsaken
My Father's care
Is round me there
He holds me that I shall not fall
And so to Him I leave it all

What a stand for the two of them to take. Their faith is amazing!
We continue to lift Knox up in prayer with you, and to love Jon and Rachel as you would if you were here.
