I actually had a very recent brainstorming session via FB mail about what to call my potential photography business. Mary Schwarz said I should just use "David Dunton Photography" and that she would have chosen "Mary Schwarz Photography" if she knew then what she does now.
That to say, why not use "Heather Ferguson Photography"? It sounds good, unless you plan on introducing yourself to everyone from now on as Heather Michelle. It'll make it easy for people to just Google your name to find your site.
Plus, I checked, and both the domains heatherfergusonphotography [dot] com and [dot] ca are available to be registered.
I like the watermark... the one with the curvy, lacy pattern. I'd just like to see Ferguson instead of Michelle (lovely name though it is) in there. And as Mary told me, I think using your normal name will be more powerful as a brand.
And you can always ask Mary, if you haven't already.
