Into the Rockies: Lake Louise, Lake Moraine and 9 kids

We ventured into the Canadian Rockies to show our dear friends from Colorado some real mountains. (heehee)
These little gopher-guys apparently like chips and pretzels.  And our kids for giving them the chips and pretzels.  We stopped that real fast.  After I got a couple of pictures of course.

This little friend loved splashing through the very cold water.  I don't know how she did it - but she did.  And she sure was cute doing it.

Lake Louise

Moraine Lake - known for the amazing color of the water.

My boys.

And the 9 cute kids are the bonus.

So glad you were able to wear shorts for that excursion. Our one trip in JULY to Moraine Lake involved biting winds and flurries. We were unprepared so to say the least, it was a quick trip!

It's so gorgeous. We sure do miss those mountains and lakes. Made do this week with the beautiful (but not quite as spectacular) lakes and mountains in Northern California!

Miss you tons.
