In the midst of all with Maggie, I managed to send out an email Monday morning to the execs of Direct TV. I didn't expect anything really, so I was pleasantly surprised to receive a reply by the afternoon agreeing with a couple of my grievances and allowing for special consideration of a couple of others, so when it was all said and done, we were receiving a $22 credit from Direct TV and the early cancellation fee has been removed.
All has been resolved.
We are done.
So I wanted to make sure we appropriately followed up with the news. So on some level, Direct TV really does care about it's customers. It just takes a bit to find that level.
