We are in Calgary.
The dog made it the whole trip (2100 miles) with out any incidents and then pooped in the car at the last 5 miles to the house.
We almost have all of our stuff. The POD is supposed to be delivered to the house tomorrow having been cleared through customs on Friday.
We don't have internet and phone at the house yet due to a glitch in the system which did not send our order through when we ordered it (ah, glitches happen in 1st world countries and 3rd world alike, eh?). Should be hooked up on Wednesday.
We love our house.
We have already made a trip out to the mountains - still beautiful.
Our dog is still sick, but our friend/vet in the church has her in his care, as does the Lord.
The cat officially owns the place.
We love the church.
Canadians are very polite and respectful.
Pedestrians have the right of way all the time in all places. That's a change from Peru.
We aren't sick, which is good since it has been confirmed it will be a year from starting to get medical care to actually getting it - unless it is an emergency - so that's good - the emergency part.
It has been a bit chilly on days (hovering in the 50's - John says "perfect"), but still beautiful weather. I never thought I would be wearing a jacket in July.
I know where three grocery stores, Costco, Walmart, and a mall are-and the library and a bookstore - good to go on all the essentials.
We miss everybody back home.
We are looking forward to lots of visits...next summer.
