I took the opportunity to play around with motion photography. I was pretty frustrated after the recital, really feeling like I got nothing good. But as I went through everything and played around with some post-production-ing, I am more encouraged. Not because the pictures are high-quality by any means, but they are better than I thought they would be, even somewhat interesting.
And of course at the end of the recital, Miranda got a big congratulatory hug and kiss from her daddy who is so completely enamored with his little princess.

Two things:
1. I miss you guys and hope to get to visit College Station during Christmas!
2. Miranda has amazing feet! That sounds weird but a lot of younger kids don't point well and she looks so graceful! I'm impressed! (Thus sayth the ballet dancer in me)

I like the motion photos--I think they could make an interesting framed piece.
Miranda is such a beautiful child and she is growing up so fast. I miss you all so much--even more so when I miss special times like this.
