We celebrated Thanksgiving with two of the three sets of grandparents. We had a lovely time visiting, and sharing pet stories, hurricane stories, armchair quarterback calls, thoughts on just how to put that brainiac puzzle together that Nina brought, Christmas wish lists, stories from the first Thanksgiving as read by John from William Bradford's(a quick shout out to all of the Bradford's, who, yes, are related to the great Puritan Governor and historian) Of Plymoth Plantation and, of course, food.
Next year, I guess we'll be doing things a little be differently, seeing as Thanksgiving is in October in Canada, and I imagine it has nothing to do with Plymoth Plantation. But I could be wrong.
We might have to settle for two Thanksgivings - just to help with the cultural transition. In fact, we'll just plan on that. Who's with me?

I don't know, I have eaten so much turkey this week...I wouldn't be able to handle two T-Days. =)
Heehee! We have done two Thanksgivings once or twice since moving here I think. Now we sort of swap every other year. One year Canadian, one year American. We like to have all of our American friends here for Thanksgiving if they stay in town. :^D
Hey, my fam is related to a guy who fell overboard off the Mayflower but was rescued (very thankfully as it just so happens that we are **gulp** related to him through both sides of our family! Eek!! I'm guessing my Mom and Dad are like 40th cousins 72 times removed or something like that. LOL) Pays to have a Mom who is majorly into Genealogy.
We're having a blizzard here tonight. Wish you could be here. :^)
