And yet another catch-up post

Ok, enough politics. Honor the man as God's choice and pray for him to be faithful and wise in leading his family, his staff, and his nation. Pray for him to be discerning and humble, concerned less with his own political agenda and career and more with what is best for we, the people.

So we drove to Canada. Not a short trip. But one which enabled us to spend precious time with some of our oldest and dearest friends. I love going to Chris and Holly's because it is just love and grace for me. They are faithful lovers of Jesus and their neighbors, and we count them as our personal prayer warriors. Ok, they pray for A LOT of people, which anyone can see by visiting Holly's blog, Crown Laid Down. And, we love their kids. I wish everyone could know these precious friends as we do and be encouraged by them as we are.

We enjoyed several outings together, including a visit to Focus on the Family, letting the kids play in all of the different rooms, including a Narnia room, and a trip to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I had never been to a zoo on a mountain before. It's pretty cool. And I must say, the giraffes were my favorite that day. Check out froggy tongue here hoping to get something good from Colton.

We had a great time, and the landscape is gorgeous.
And the kids are kinda cute too.
Thanks friends! We love you tons!

Awww...we love you, too, Heather! Yes, and we are praying for you, friend.

Good woords about supporting the President elect. I am actually feeling hopeful today that God is doing something NEW in the body of Christ,

Love you much! Enjoy that fountain soda today, OK??

Oh and I stopped by Julie's website, and it looks like she may be coming back soon. Hope so, 'cause it might snow today. And het tasty marshmallows would be very nice for our cocoa this winter.
