Alrighty then...we'll see about that.
Our suspicions are that it won't be quite as life-completing as he thinks it's going to be. So better to let him figure it out now...right? And the plan is to shave it off Saturday. So here we go...
But just when we think the story is over...
Guess who told Daddy he didn't want a mohawk anymore and wanted daddy to shave the rest off today, less than 12 hours after getting his long-desired, life-completing mohawk...

Wow! That's a lot of change in just 12 hours! But yes, still a cutie. :-)
To quote an old DC Talk song, "Some people gotta learn the hard way, I guess I'm the kind of guy who has to find out for myself. . ."
Kudos to John for making a pretty nifty mohawk cut. Kudos to Heather for bearing with the inevitable. Kudos to Colton for knowing his own limitations (but hey, Colton, you know, you ought to try out the mullet, because I think it suits your style much better than the mohawk!).
Ooooh! He is such a little cutie, but in the Mohawk and the buzz, he looks about 3 years older than he did with hair. Don't let him grow up too fast, and give him a hug from Granma.
Colton,
I can't believe you
You were brave to get a mohawk
I would be pretty scared to get one
You have a lot of guts!

Hey, is that boy an Ayers? He sure looks like one now! ;)
That was a COOL mohawk!!!

I love the Colton-mohawk story- thanks for sharing. What cool parents to let their child have a mohawk for a few days!
That is adorable! He's getting so old! I like the mohawk! And things sometimes do seem much cooler in theory than in reality! Hope all is well!
What a cutie!! Man... that kid's got dimples to spare! :^) Tell him he's a handsome devil with and without the hawk!
I convinced my mother to give me a similar cut once...only I was about 14 or 15 at the time :)
