The phone. I awoke this morning to a solid green light on the power display of the Vonage phone adapter, rather than the blinking red which had been tormenting, even taunting me for three days.
This of course after the slew of emails yesterday between me and the Vonage service people all beginning the same way. "I understand you are having a problem with your Vonage service." Then a list of things to do including unplugging, waiting, replugging, resetting over and over which always resulted in the same blinking red light.
Three cycles of emails back and forth ("I understand you are having trouble with your Vonage service." "Yes I am still having the same trouble with my Vonage service and there is nothing else to unplug. Now what is the procedure???") until I just flat out decided I was done.
I gave up. I had tried everything I could in my power.
There was nothing else I could do but sit back and wait. Off to bed I went, hands off and helpless to fix the problem myself.
And so, when I had quite working so hard to manipulate my device towards my own desires, a solid green light. Just like that.
Hmmm....
I think there may be a spiritual analogy in here somewhere.

Glad your phone is working again--it always amazes me the little things God will do to get us to talk to him--sometimes its just a beautiful cloud, sometimes its a blinking red light.
I had so much fun talking with the kids last night. They have really matured in the year+ since I saw them last, especially the youngest three. If you can slow them down long enough to snap a nice face-shot of each, I'd like that.
