Yes, I think I'm back. It's been a bit of a long, sporadic absence, but a needed one. I think I am on the mend. Lots of digging deep within my soul. Lots of talking with wise friends, counselors and husbands (one to be exact). Lots of prayer and lots of humbling. Reprioritizing. Finding joy again. Putting away those things that became a hinderance - or putting them in their proper place. Adjusting expectations - or coming into line more with Christ's expectations - repenting of my expectations...again...and again...and again....
Finding my focus.
It's a finding I will always be seeking after.
I lose my focus so easily.
Jesus is to be my focus. And all these things will be added after that - no, under that umbrella of life.
Jesus is my focus.
My focus, my life, is found in Him and His life.

I know what you mean, friend. God breaks and breaks and breaks that I might know my need of Him that He might mend and make me love Him more.
