Miranda's Ballet Recital

Saturday Miranda performed in her ballet recital.  I must say, it was a good show.  I took pictures of many of the dances, but for the sake of space, I will only post a few from Miranda's dance entitled "Natural Selection".  It told the story of some birds being stalked by the mean old hunter, and the naturalist coming in to save the day.  Believe it or not, this was the girls' idea - their teacher is very fun and down to earth - she just went with it and it was a fun dance.  Miranda is one of the purple birds.

Afterward, we went home for a photo session of our own.  It was difficult to find a good place for her photos - it's a good thing she's so cute. :)  And the purple feathers just suit her to a "T".

I love ballet shoes.  I love their simplicity.
