So I managed to catch some frosty trees against a bright blue sky which is difficult to do because the sun melts the frost pretty quickly.
I will post more pictures later in the week, along with pictures from Miranda's birthday, but in the meantime,
Which photo do you prefer?
Photo 1

Photo 2
This is not a trick question - I am looking for some feedback in regard to how I process my photos. I would really appreciate any feedback - even a simple vote for the preferred photo in the comments section would help me out a lot.
Thanks!

I vote for Photo 2
I vote for photo #2. I like a little more blue in my skies! Rachel Lafon
Definitely #2. Do you have a circular polarizing lens filter? If not, put one on your wish list. You'll get those bright blue skies without processing.
Heather;
I'll agree with the others photo number 2, I really like the blue.
I like #2 as well!
Uhmm, I would have to go with photo #2 because of the contrast between the sky and the trees.
Outstanding for both though Heather!

I vote 2.
I think I'm going to go with #2 as well - I also like the brighter blue; I think it makes the frosty trees look a little more white than the trees in #1. Also, I think the mountains stood out a little more in the background than in #1.
I vote for photo 2, as well. I like that it's sharper and more vibrant, although I did think the blue in the sky looked slightly unrealistic.
#2 looks brighter and crisper all around better. But, if you were going for a more dreary look, than definitely go with #1. I'm guessing #2 it's more "doctored" than the first, but no matter.
Photo #2 is definitely better. I like the contrast...enough to bring out the blue sky but not so much that it looks unrealistic. Nicely done!
2. awesome photos!!!
Add one more for #2. #1 looks just a hair underexposed to me.
Definitely for #2!
#2 for brighter. But I like the feel of number 1 for a more "somber" assortment.
