Are you serious??????

Just when I think things can not get any more out of control, our Homeland Security has now put out an alert on "right-wing extremist activity". Let me guess that "right-wing extremist activity" will come to mean something broader than the Timothy McVeigh's of the world....

Oh yes, here it is...

A footnote attached to the report by the Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis defines "right-wing extremism in the United States" as including not just racist or hate groups, but also groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority. (from the Washington Times, April 14, 2009)

Um...Homeland Security just identified the Founding Fathers as right-wing extremists, and the Constitution as a revolutionary manifesto.

Does this administration have such a fragile ego that it can't handle any form of disagreement? That is what the evidence is showing and frankly I am getting really sick of it. Whatever people hoped this President would be, is it not yet clear what he is? But for the system.....2010, I am still hopeful.

And that leads me to say, I am not against the system. The President was elected, I believe based on very little information, but that is just my humble opinion, but he was elected fair and square. I respect the office and I respect the system. We are a nation that is not homogeneous, and I thought that was something we tended to celebrate. But it seems to me, like this administration is going overboard to quiet any dissenting views, from the arrogant, "I won" quip to Congress, to the talk of re-enacting the Fairness Doctrine, to labeling as right-wing extremists those who believe the words of the Constitution and the system it set up still holds true, to forcing physicians to perform abortions whether they have a conscientious objection to it or not - well, I guess force is a strong word. They could just go get another job after years and years of expensive specialized training. And what about the banks that want to pay back TARP money and they were told NO. Are you kidding me?

If this administration had any care for the people of this nation it would stop and take stock of what they are doing instead of continually jamming their 40 year wish list down our throat. And that is exactly what they are doing. This is by far the most selfish, self-interested, self-proclaiming, self-serving administration I have ever seen. I'm tired of the excuses of why what they are doing is ok. I'm tired of being judged a racist if I don't agree with what this President wants. I really don't care what race he is or anybody else in D.C. Plain and simple, this administration and it's majority is out of control not working for the people that put them in office, but simply working for themselves and their radical agenda.

What part of anything they are doing shows any concern at all for the nation as a whole? For the future of the nation? Someone, please tell me. I'm waiting....
