An interesting combination

I walked in from a baby shower this morning to find most of my children enjoying their once-a-week indulgence in video games. (Saturday is video game day and anybody that has lived near us, knows that it is sacred to our children.) All, but one, who was sitting at the kitchen table with John's ipod in the speakers and his Bible open in front of him. My first assumption was that he was listening to a worship song and had figured out the words were straight from Scripture and thus went to the source to see for himself.

But my assumption was wrong.

As I listened more attentively, I caught the song's minor twang and haunting lyrics..."Wanted....dead or alive"...(familiar piano digression)...

I guess one could consider Jon Bon Jovi inspirational on some level. I don't know what that level is, but ...hmmmm....anyway....
