At home in Texas

Here are a few pics of our "home for now". We are living in a very cute and very small house on a very large piece of land. John is living his dream and the kids are enjoying the large play space as well as keeping the neighbors donkeys (named Bonnie and Cinco)and miniature horses (Scarlet, Star, and Sweetie) well fed. Particularly Miranda, who spends hours upon hours with the animals making sure that they never have to bend their necks in order to eat again. What a life.

I am loving the barn. The junk inside makes for some great shots - especially this roll of barbed wire hanging on a nail.

This guy just cracks me up. His name is Bonnie - yes, HIS name is Bonnie. As I was taking pictures of the horses, I felt, you know, someone watching me. So I turned to see, and there he was - just a-staring. And he stared long enough for me to catch this shot.

I'm wondering if the donkey staring at you is symbolic of the dems. winning this year? JK! Man that still stinks, though.

I love the barbed wire picture.

Still no definitive answer for our emails, but a peace. and that's enough for now. Keep on praying!
Love,
Holly

I'm so jealous. I'd be with Miranda playing with the horses all day.

Great pics!! You would seriously never know this beautiful spot was off a road with neighborhoods all around it. Such a pretty dwelling.
And IS your house small??? Oh dear, you need to come and see ours. =)

Oh my gosh. How cute are all of those ANIMULES. Yes, I said ANIMULES. And fancy this... I haven't had a single choc-alco-lat-ahol at all. :^P Love the part about "never bend their necks again." Miranda is a girl after my own heart.

I'm jealous to see y'all wearing shorts still. That is so wrong. It's pickin' cold here.
