Friends,
Mike Olsson is the brother of Nancy, my dear friend in Calgary whom we will be working alongside with her husband, Shawn, in the church planting project. Mike made an attempt to take his life two days ago, but was fortunately found within time to rescue him. He is in the hospital now and making progress. Updates can be found here on a blog Nancy set up for her family to keep people in the know as we surround them with prayer. Nancy and Shawn are in route to San Francisco from Calgary to be with the family.
Please be in prayer for Mike, Nancy and Shawn as they travel, and the Olssons as they walk this difficult path.

Thank you so much for posting this Heather. Thank you so much for your sweet words to me last week and for your prayers. Mike is doing so much better and now is just dying to come home! Can't quite yet though.
Pray also for our return trip early next week. The weather is not supposed to be very nice which is not nice to look forward to either as it greatly adds to the stress and amount of travel time. We're praying that the forecast begins to clear.
