Miranda had her last ballet class. Her sweet teacher, Miss Genifer, cried telling her goodbye. Miss Genifer was very patient with Miranda, using what little english she knew to help Miranda understand the instructions better.
We had the Quiros family over for lunch last Saturday. Noemi was our Spanish profesora. She and her husband, Eduardo serve in our Arevalo church. He is currently the pastor and we have grown to love them dearly. The kids also very much enjoy hanging out with the Quiros boys, Juan, Alfredo and BenjamÃn. They are a neat family and we are going to miss them.
We also had a "girl's luncheon" on Thursday. This was to hang out with Beth Bradford - Allen and Bill's sister-in-law visiting from South Carolina, but to be honest, I think it will be my last lunch with just the girls, so I am grateful we were able to do it. We had a lot of fun laughing and telling stories. And don't we all have stories to tell. I just love these girls and it is an honor to have served with them and to be able to count them as friends - missing from the picture is Jami, but she's there in spirit - right girlfriend?

More to come.
