Last night at Chelsea's

One of our favorite places to eat out in Trujillo was a restaurant called Chelsea's. It had a nice atmosphere with decent prices and it was one of the 4 restaurants we trusted with their food. If you have been to Trujillo on a mission trip, you have probably come with us to Chelsea's. On Thursday night, we took our friend Pablo out for our last visit there before we head out.

The kids particularly love Chelsea's Lomo Saltado, while John is a big fan of their Fettuccine Alfredo. It only took about 6 months before they had his order figured out. The adding of the chopped chicken breast was not a normal request. But, he claims Chelsea's Fettuccine Alfredo as the best in the world. Personally, I love the taqueƱos and guacamole - which is interesting, because I didn't even like guacamole before I came to Peru. And I'm a Texas girl. I guess better late than never.

So a pisco sour toast to Chelsea's. Thanks for all of the memories from date nights to mission hangouts, to hosting 40 member mission teams. It's been a blast.

Heather, I wish you could bring me a pisco sour from Chelsea's. We've tried making them but they're just not the same. yum!
