Just for fun

This is not new to me, but my friend Holly sent it to me from another blog and since I am home from church suffering from a parasitic invasion fighting against the de-bugging medicine I am attempting to squash this bug with, and because I love the video so much anyway, I decided to post it myself.

I have "Shiny Happy People" on my iPod and every time I hear it, I think of Michael Stipes bouncing with muppets. It makes me smile.

You just can't go wrong with an REM and Sesame Street combo. The only thing that would have made it better was to have the B-52s gal who does the original harmony there as well harmonizing with flippy-hair muppet girl.

That video is awesome. I've always loved that song, but I've never seen the Sesame Street version. Now, not only will I want to dance when I hear that song, but I'll want to dance awkwardly like Stipes...while imagining monsters smiling and crying.
